By day, Katrina “Kat” Rene is a Corporate Tax Attorney. But in her spare time, she has fostered a passion for wine that has led her to achieve her Certified Specialist of Wine diploma from the Society of Wine Educators and an Advanced Certificate (Level III) from the Wine and Spirits Educational Trust.
Rene has honed her love of wine through her own wine blog, The Corkscrew Concierge in which she shares stories of travel, wine discoveries, and her other life pursuits with a growing readership. The endeavor has slowly evolved into an informal travel consultancy in which she helps others organize their own travel and wine experiences. Rene hopes to make wine and travel as accessible as possible for everyone.
