Whitney Roberts is a cheesemonger, cheesemaker, cheese educator, and founder of the Cheese Culture Coalition, a nonprofit that uses education to advance the BIPOC community within the cheese industry.
She began her career in the cheese industry as cheesemonger at Whole Foods Market, became a maker at Pure Luck Dairy in central Texas, and now teaches virtual cheese classes with Antonelli’s Cheese Shop in Austin. Having recognized the lack of diversity and inclusion within the cheese industry, she realized she had to make a change. She sought to do this through an open ended grant and education of school-aged students in the BIPOC community. Whitney founded the Cheese Culture Coalition in May of 2020, and currently serves as its Executive Director. Her and her partner are raising their 6 month old and 2 year old in Austin, Texas.
